The Dollar Box, located in downtown Hattiesburg, hosted The Micro Wrestling Federation on October 26, 2017. The group brought an exciting twist to the sport of wrestling. The group consists of seven professional little people who used props and untapped raw power to battle for the Midget Wrestling Champions Belt.

The event consisted of four rounds of wrestling and a halftime show. The wrestlers would punch, tackle, put each other in holds and hit one another with ladders, wet floor signs and yard sticks. The wrestlers seemed to be driven off of the claps, cheers and input from the crowd. They would have heated conversations with the crowd and even allowed two lucky audience members to referee the fight.

Additionally, raffle tickets available for purchase that gave people the chance to meet the little people and take photos with them. During the halftime show the only lady in the group, “Lil’ Miss,” would dance both for and with the crowd.

The wrestling troupe travels all around the United States to entertain all that they encounter. The Micro Wrestling Federation returns to Hattiesburg annually, and their performances are always unique to the occasion.
